Appearance: Deep amber. Very clear due to long, cool fermentation temperature. Low to moderate, creamy off-white to light tan-colored head. Aroma: Medium malty sweetness, accentuated by low kettle caramelization. Flavor: Malt is the primary flavor, but isn't overly strong. The initial malty sweetness is accentuated by a low kettle caramelization, and is accompanied by a low diacetyl component. Food Pairing: Pairs well with food reminiscent of good ol' Highland cuisine: Grilled red meats, roast pheasant or grouse, and haggis.
