New England IPAs are known for being hazy, juicy, and having pillowy mouthfeel. This version delivers to the max on all fronts. Citra and Mosaic are two of our favorite hops, but we have two new varieties in this beer that really stand out. Emerald Spire is a Michigan grown hop (yes, Michigan!) that delivers notes of peach, juicy fruit, white grape, watermelon, bubble gum, melon rind, and champagne. Experimental Hop 09326 has notes of berry jam, tropical fruit, grapefruit, and subtle herbal notes. The combination of the four has led to a unique blend that is unlike any of the previous Chowdahs. We think it's pretty great and we hope you do, too.
